We’re so glad you’ve decided to journey with us. You are welcome to look at who we are and what we do. We’ve added some helpful information to make your visit as smooth as possible. We can’t wait to meet you!
We are a caring and active community at the centre of Woodford in Plympton. We provide services and activities for all ages as we seek to worship God together and show His love to our community.
Service Times
Every Sunday at 10:30am
Sunday morning worship with a mix of modern and traditional worship, and activities for the children.
Whats On
We have a range of activities throughout the week for all ages including our missional community outreach projects: craft group Litter Pickers, over the wall (After school coffee) and other outreach events and projects. Click here for more details and our events calendar.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s
will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Hello! I pray that you will all continue to be blessed as we embrace the changing
season and look forward to our Harvest services, the lead up to Advent and dare I
say it – Christmas? The importance of prayer and the need to take time out to pray
for our churches and communities continues to be a focus for me and I pray, you
also. We are beginning two new prayer initiatives to help us continue to discern God’s
will for both Elburton and Woodford with especial focus on mission, families, witness,
resources and of course, each other; you will find more details about these in your
respective new sheets. I would also like to take this opportunity to share our new
hub prayer, written jointly by Margaret P at Elburton and Elaine C at Woodford. This
will be shared every week from the pulpit, as we have been doing, but I would like to
ask that you continue to pray it every Wednesday at midday (or as near to this time
as is possible for you) and copies will be given out after the next few services.
Gracious Lord We lift up our hearts to You, with thanksgiving, and praise. Thank You, for Your
blessings on our hub churches of Woodford and Elburton. We give thanks for our
minister Rebecca, that Your Holy Spirit, will continue to inspire her. We pray that we
will be a blessing to our communities at Woodford and Elburton, that we may
encounter Your presence in our lives every day, and carry Your presence to everyone
we meet. We pray for all those who use our church premises for all different kinds of
activities, and ask Lord, that Your Holy Spirit, will bring to Woodford and Elburton,
fresh and new ideas as to how to serve you and that our hearts and minds will be
open to receive them. Thank you, Lord, that You provide for our needs every day,
guide our paths, thoughts, and actions as we endeavour to serve You, and our
communities. Our trust is in You, Lord, as we move forward for a bright, and blessed
future for Woodford and Elburton, and ask Lord, that You, will bless the plans we
have for both churches. Amen.
