General Conditions of Hiring
When you complete your booking form you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understand these conditions and that you will fully comply with them during your period of hire.
We hope you enjoy your function at Woodford Methodist Church. We would point out however that spiritual activity relating to non-Methodist faith, including Yoga, Halloween events etc. are not permitted. Also smoking, gambling and alcohol is NOT PERMITTED anywhere on the premises, under any circumstances.
The entrance to the hall is via the car park door. It is self-closing to prevent unauthorized entry but there is a bell which will indicate someone at the door is wishing to enter.
There is a water heater on the far wall of the kitchen which will provide 48 cups hot drinks, and various jugs and kettles and in unlocked cupboards utensils you are free to use.
Tables and chairs in the main hall are for your use – please return them to their original place.
Brooms and dustpans are in the cupboards at the end of the hall near the table stack.
Please make sure all rubbish is taken home with you and not left on the premises (including in the bins outside as these are for Woodford Pre-School use only).
Please make sure all lights are turned off and doors locked before you leave.
Please ensure that children (and others) are supervised to avoid possible unnecessary injury as this will not be covered by the church public liability insurance.
Also make sure that your bouncy castle provider (if hired) has the appropriate insurance in place.
A copy of the Church safeguarding conditions can be found on the church notice board to the right of the hall doors.
The Stage area should NOT be accessed unless with prior permission for use of a production for example.
Payment to be made by BACS – Sort Code 56 00 63 – Account No 37234323 and use the last name of the hirer as the booking reference
